Our restaurant and café are open to hotel guests and travelers alike. Café Mayu on the train station platform offers espresso coffee, tea, cookies, brownies, sandwiches and salads. Join us in the restaurant where you will find a full menu for breakfast lunch and dinner.

We have created our menu using fresh organic ingredients from our garden and Sacred Valley offering a selection of Peruvian and European flavors. Alpaca steak, fresh salads, homemade fettuccine and fresh trout are a few items available on our menu.

In addition, we offer our Pachamanca farm lunch daily, with fresh ingredients cooked in a traditional “earth oven.” Guests dine al fresco and enjoy a meal of freshly cooked meats, vegetables, and other farm dishes while enjoying the magnificent scenery of Ollantaytambo.

Chuncho is a restaurant and bar that works using the flavors, ingredients, and traditions of Ollantaytambo, the Urubamba Valley, and the Cusco region.  Our priority is to use ingredients from our own organic farm, as well as those of local growers and suppliers. At Chuncho we revive traditional, native dishes with local ingredients, the food we serve changes regularly based on what we’re growing on our farm and which ingredients are in season.

The word “Chuncho” comes from the Quechua language and means “native” and “wild”

Chuncho is the continuation of our family’s work that spans more than 4 decades here in Ollantaytambo, reflected in El Albergue, Destilería Andina and Café Mayu.

Cafe Mayu is located on the Ollantaytambo train station platform.  Connected to El Albergue Restaurant, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as lite fare all-day long, offering the freshest ingredients directly from our farm.  Open early til late, come on by and to enjoy the best local beverages while watching trains and people come and go to and from Machu Picchu.  

We are proud to feature our own coffee and cañazo spirits both produced on-site at El Albergue Finka.  Enjoy these unique artisanal products in Cafe Mayu or schedule a visit to the farm for a tour of the coffee roasting facility and cañazo distillery.

The El Albergue and Café Mayu Box Lunches are prepared with the freshest ingredients from our farm, ensuring healthy food of the highest quality and flavors that please even the most sophisticated palates. With the new seasonal menu options, our goal is to offer a product that appeals to each guest’s taste preferences. The Box Lunches are available for pickup where they are created: El Albergue Restaurant and Cafe Mayu at the Ollantaytambo Train Station.
